Dear Automotive Executives

CBU/CAR and BYD Auto are working together to organize a unique international seminar on the most recent development of China’s efforts in vehicle electrification.

The theme of CBU/CAR’s 2nd annual EV seminar is: China’s EV Fleet Operations: Exploration and Innovation.

The seminar will be held on January 24, 2013 at the Shangri-La Hotel, Shenzhen. A gala welcome dinner will be hosted on the same day right after the seminar. On January 25, speakers and attendees will have an opportunity to visit BYD museum, e-taxi operations as well as test drive BYD’s plug-in and pure electric vehicles.

CBU/CAR plans to invite speakers from government officials, industry analysts, OEMs, fleet operators, service providers for the seminar event.

CBU/CAR’s international conferences since 1996 have evolved into a unique gathering of senior Chinese and multinational executives. They have been value-added events with in-depth discussions on the expanding China market and a high-level and rewarding networking opportunity.

BYD is a pioneer and leader in power battery manufacture and vehicle electrification. Excelled in lithium-ion battery technology, the Warren Buffett-backed BYD has delivered hundreds of plug-in and battery electric cars and buses to fleet and individual customers in China and around the world. In the city of Shenzhen where BYD is based, 200 K9 E-bus and over 300 e6 taxi are serving the public.

Simultaneous interpretation in English and Chinese will be provided at the seminar.
