Dear Automotive Executives：
China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) and CBU/CAR is preparing the 18th annual international conference to be held on April 18-19, 2013 at the Crowne Plaza Century Park Hotel in Shanghai.
The theme of the 2013 annual event is: Globalized China and China’s Globalization: Facing Inevitable Mergers & Acquisitions. It will be held before Auto Shanghai 2013’s media day (April 20). A gala welcome dinner will be held on the evening of April 17. Attendees will also have the opportunity to tour Auto Shanghai 2013 on April 21.
CPCA/CBU/CAR plans to invite at least two dozen speakers from government officials, associations, industry analysts, Chinese and global OEMs and suppliers, design houses and service providers for the two-day event. Panel topics to be discussed will include: Regulatory Environment under the New Administration; China’s Domestic Market Potential; China’s Contribution to the Global Industry; Designed and Made in China for Global Consumption; Prospects of OE Consolidation in China; and Opportunities of Global Mergers & Acquisitions.
CPCA is an association of passenger vehicle manufacturers established in 1994. Currently affiliated with the China Automobile Dealers Association (CADA), CPCA provides information exchange services for the more than 50 member OEMs and functions as a liaison between member companies and relevant government departments.
CBU/CAR has covered China's auto market for 19 years since 1995 with weekly, bi-weekly and monthly newsletters and a monthly magazine China Automotive Review, plus database products and online services. CBU/CAR publications have been recognized by industry professions as the source that "tells about the wheels behind the wheels" of the emerging Chinese auto market.
CBU/CAR’s annual international conference since 1996 has evolved into a unique gathering of senior Chinese and multinational executives. They are value-added professional events with in-depth discussions on the expanding China market and a high-level and rewarding networking opportunity for local and multinational auto executives.
I look forward to your involvement and participation at the CPCA/CBU/CAR's 18th annual international conference in Shanghai. This annual event is unique in providing a mix of Chinese and foreign speakers, insightful presentations and candid dialogues and Q&As with the audience. Past events have proven to be a successful venue in helping sponsors promote their products and services to a broad spectrum of Chinese and global attendees.
