CBU/CAR 2009 Presidents’ Forum: New Energy, Fuel Efficient & Green Vehicles


SHANGHAI – The 2009 Presidents’ Forum and CBU/CAR’s 14th annual international conference will be held on April 21-23, 2009 at the Crowne Plaza Century Park Hotel in Pudong, Shanghai.


The theme of this year’s annual event will be New Energy, Fuel Efficient & Green Vehicles: Global Development and China’s Opportunities.


The two-day high-level gathering will be organized by China Business Update/China Automotive Review and co-organized by Magna Powertrain and Magna Steyr are our corporate sponsors and is our media sponsor.


The event will help kick off this year’s largest trade show in China, Auto Shanghai 2009 (April 22-28) at the New Pudong International Exhibition Center.


Tentative panel topics to be discussed during the two-day seminar are:

The 2009 Presidents’ Forum will begin with a gala welcome dinner on April 21, 2009, the 2nd Press Day of Auto Shanghai. One or two key-note speakers will be featured at the dinner. The conference will be scheduled for April 22-23, with a plant tour of a local OEM on the afternoon of the 23rd and a VIP tour of Auto Shanghai on the 24th.  The working languages of the conference will be English and Chinese, with simultaneous interpretation.
