URUMCHI, Xinjiang – Beiqi-Foton signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Xinjiang Guanghui Group to jointly promote Beiqi-Foton’s Auman LNG heavy-duty trucks in Xinjiang, reported Modern Logistics News.
With high reliability and high fuel economy, the Auman LNG heavy-duty trucks have adopted Weichai’s low-speed large-torque engines and 16-ton Benz double drive axles with large loading capacity and high driving efficiency. The Auman LNG trucks can save 30-40 percent of resources compared with the diesel-driven ones. New Auman LNG heavy-duty trucks have been widely applied in Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, Ningxia and Jiangsu, and sales of such truck reached 105 units in the first seven months of this year. Government departments as well as enterprises such as Sinopec and Petro China all purchased Auman LNG trucks in large volume.
According to Wu Yuejun, vice president of Beiqi-Foton and president of Foton-Daimler, this strategic cooperation will make good use of Guanghui’s LNG and coalmine resources as well as transportation resources in Xinjiang, and will actively promote the Auman LNG products in the local market.
