Chang’an appoints new chairmen for Hafei and Changhe

Wu Xuesong, former vice general manager of Chang’an Automobile Group Co., was appointed as the new chairman of Hafei Motor Co., Ltd. on January 5. The next day, Zou Wenchao, a former vice president at Chang’an and executive vice president of Chang’an-Ford-Mazda Automobile Co., Ltd. was made chairman of Changhe Automobile Co., Ltd., according to news reported by auto.sohu.com.

Zou joined Chang’an in 1996 as vice director and assistant to the president. He made vice president of Chang’an in February 1997, responsible for planning, investing and engineering constructing, and was then appointed executive vice president of Chang’an-Ford-Mazda in April 2000. After the new Chang’an was set up in November 2009, Zou became a member of the board of directors and vice president of the entire company.

Du Yi, former Hafei’s chairman since October 2009, was transferred to Chang’an as vice president. Zhao Guibin, former chairman of Changhe, was transferred back to Chang’an as a director.

Chang’an also appointed many other senior managers for Hafei and Changhe. Kang Ping, former vice general manager of Hafei and general manager of Hafei Sales Co., Ltd., became Hafei’s secretary of the Party. Li Li, vice general manager of Chang’an Automobile Sales Co., Ltd., became Changhe’s general manager. And Zhou Jiangzhen, senior financial manager of Chang’an, became Changhe’s chiefl accountant.
