China releases parts-to-retail price ratio of 18 models

BEIJING – The Insurance Association of China and China Automotive Maintenance and Repair Trade Association (CAMRA) jointly released the parts-to-retail price ratio of 18 vehicle models on October 30.

The highest parts-to-retail price ratio of the 18 models is 719.75 percent and the lowest is 230.98 percent.

The two associations released the parts-to-retail price ratio of the first batch of 18 models in April. According to the October study results, 16 of the first 18 models’ parts-to-retail price ratio changed, with 11 dropped and five increased due to auto parts price adjustment by these carmakers. The highest parts-to-retail price ratio of the first 18 models changed to 1172.65 percent and the lowest 281.15 percent.
