China’s B-class car sales up 7.9 percent in July

BEIJING— China’s locally produced B-class car sales in July rose 7.9 percent year-on-year to 156,934 units, accounting for 19.4 percent of the total car sales, according to CBU-Autostats.

Sales of the top 10 B-class car models in the month were 105,316 units, and took up 67.1 percent of the total segment sales.

In the first seven months of this year, a total of 1,140,216 locally produced B-class cars were sold, up 10.7 percent. The combined sales of top 10 models came up to 727,542 units, accounting for 63.8 percent of the total segment sales during the period.
