DFM eyes 335,000 units auto sales in 2011

XIANGYANG, Hubei – China’s carmaker Dongfeng Automobile Co., Ltd. (DFAC) sets up its sales goal for 2011 that sales of the whole vehicles, engines and castings will run up to 335,000 units, 229,600 units and 35,000 tons respectively on the company’s conference held on January 19 at the Xiangyang base, according to media sources.

Lu Feng, general manager of DFAC said according to the company’s “New 315 Plan”, annual average increment of auto sales will surpass 60,000 units and exceed the industry’s growth pace.

In 2011, DFAC will ensure its light truck Captain N300 (T01), light bus A08 and the two-seat new energy vehicle to go public, intensify brand marketing and sales network service as well as accelerate the power assembly and capacity expansion construction.
