DPCA announces new executive appointments

WUHAN, Hubei – Dongfeng-Peugeot-Citroën Automobile Co., Ltd. (DPCA) announced at a meeting on June 20 new senior executive appointments.

Qiu Xiandong, current president of the company since October 2012, will return to parent company Dongfeng Motor Corp. for a position to be announced later. Starting from August 1, Su Weibin, current director of international business for Dongfeng and president of Dongfeng Motor Industry Import & Export Co., Ltd. since March 2015, will replace Qiu as president.

Jean Christophe Marchal, current vice president of DPCA production and director of production control & logistics since March 2016, will become executive vice president. Jean Mouro, current vice president of DPCA since October 2012, will return to PSA Group and take another position to be announced later.

Before August 1, Mouro will be president in an interim capacity for about two months. Su will be vice president, committee member, member of CPC committee and deputy secretary.  

Qiu has served numerous positions with DPCA including vice president since January 2011, vice president and finance director since January 2003, director of finance strategy under finance division since August 2001, fund administrator & deputy chief of financial & accounting department as well as director of financial planning department from July 1995 to August 2001. Prior to that, he worked with Dongfeng Motor Finance Co., Ltd. from October 1993 to July 1995. He was born in November 1969 and graduated from Tsinghua University with a degree on forging technology & equipment of Mechanical Engineering and a degree on business economic management from the School of Economics & Management.

Su has been vice president of Dongfeng Motor Industry Import & Export Co., Ltd. since April 2012, vice president of DFG international since July 2011, vice president of Zhengzhou Nissan Co., Ltd. (Zhengzhou-Nissan) since March 2007, director of DFG planning department since March 2010, vice director of DFG finance & accounting and vice president of Zhengzhou-Nissan since March 2005, vice director of DFG finance & accounting since July 2003 and deputy director of DFG president office since May 2001. He was born in July 1970 with a bachelor’s degree on casting from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in July 1991 and a master’s degree on business administration from Tsinghua University in July 2003. He worked at Second Auto Works Piston Bearing Bush Factory upon graduation. He is now a senior CCOM.

Mouro was director of France Mulhouse Factory since 2010, president of PSA Group Slovakia and director of Tanawa Factory from 2007 to 2009, director of France Aonei Coating Factory from 2006 to 2007 and R&D director of GEFCO information system from 2002 to 2005. He joined PSA Group in 1996 and served various posts including engineer of platform, technology and purchasing department, director of fluid machinery and thermology simulation. He was born on September 26, 1969 with a doctor’s degree on Mechanics from Ecole Polytechnique France in 1996.

Marchal was president of Russian PSA Peugeot Citroën Mitsubishi Motors from August 2012 to March 2016. He joined PSA in September 2005 and was director of the new projects of Olney, Poissy and Russian Factory. Earlier, he worked with La Maison des Maines, SCETAUROUTE Consulting and Expressway Company in south France from September 1997 to September 2005. He was born in April 1972 and studied in Ecole Polytechnique France, École des Ponts and French Engineer College with a master’s degree.
