Dealer inventory ratio drops to 1.00 in December 2013

BEIJING – Average inventory ratio of Chinese car dealers in December 2013 dropped 0.38 to 1.00 compared to November, but up 0.3 from the previous year, according to data released by China Automobile Dealers Association (CADA) recently.

In the month, the average inventory ratio of Chinese and joint venture brands was 1.01 and 0.97, down 0.47 and 0.22 month-on-month, while that of imported brands was down by 1.63 to 1.36.

Of the 55 surveyed brands, only three including the Brilliance Zhonghua, Venucia and Geely exceeded the alarm threshold of 2.5 in December.
