February sales of American A0-class cars down 7.5 percent in China

BEIJING—The locally produced A0-class cars of American brands in February in China declined by 7.5 percent on a yearly basis to 22,342 units, and their market share was 18.6 percent, up 0.3 percentage points.

Shanghai-GM sales under its Chevrolet brand in the segment were 21,328 units, up 22.3 percent.

The combined sales of American brands in the segment rose 3.2 percent year-on-year to 52,116 units in China in the first two months, and their market share was down by one percentage point to 16.3 percent.

Shanghai-GM sales under its Chevrolet brand reached 49,670 units, up 18.2 percent.
