Franz Gollmann, former product quality director of BMW Group, has joined Brilliance Auto Group (Brilliance) recently and serves as Chief Quality Offer of the company, according to a report from auto.sohu.com.
Gollmann will be in charge of Brilliance’s products and quality business, including R&D, manufacturing, management, sales, aftersales service, etc.
Gollmann had served in BMW Group for nearly 40 years and he was BMW’s product quality director. Under his leadership, his team completed a quality revaluation project, which was said as the most successful one until now. He once was responsible for MINI and Land Rover’s operations in the United Kingdom.
Gollmann disclosed that he will conduct one-year training for members of Brilliance’s product quality teams to improve their work skills and capabilities.
Brilliance sold 261,257 vehicles in the first six months of the year, a year-on-year rise of 15.83 percent, according to CBU-Autostats.
