German brands’ SUV sales up 28.2 percent in April in China

BEIJING— April sales of German brands’ locally produced SUVs in China reached 28,582 units with a year-on-year growth of 28.2 percent, and their market share was down by 2.4 percentage points to 13.4 percent.

In the first quarter of this year, German brand sales in the segment were 111,200 units, up 32.6 percent, and their market share was 13.7 percent, down 1.7 percentage points.
