HAIKOU, Hainan – Guo Zhenfu, former long-time president of Zhengzhou-Nissan, was appointed vice president of Haima Automobile Group Corp., according to a statement issued by the public-listed automaker on April 2.
Guo will be responsible for Haima’s commercial vehicle and new energy vehicle development, according to the statement.
Prior to joining Haima, Guo was executive vice president of Dongfeng-Honda Engine Co., Ltd. from May 2015 to February 2016, vice president of Dongfeng Automobile Co., Ltd. (DFAC) from 2012 to 2015 and president of Zhengzhou-Nissan from 2011 to May 2015. From 1989 to 2015, he held numerous other positions at Zhengzhou-Nissan and its former body Zhengzhou Light Vehicle Works, including Party secretary, vice president, purchasing director, finance director and workshop director.
Haima sold 181,446 cars, MPVs and SUVs last year, flat from 2014.
