HONG KONG – Iveco (China) Commercial Vehicle Sales Co., Ltd. held a dealer authorization and products launch ceremony in Hong Kong on January 17, reported eotruck.com.
Iveco China authorized Fortune Dragon Motors Ltd. as the dealer of the brand in Hong Kong and Macau and showcased all series products of Iveco at the event. All models displayed, including the Daily, Eurocarge, StralisHi-Road trailer, and engineer truck chassis Trakker, will be formally sold in Hong Kong, said the report.
Iveco China sold 30 units of the Daily, an Iveco brand light commercial vehicle, in Hong Kong last year, which indicated the return of Iveco to the Hong Kong market.
Hong Kong has stricter emissions standards than the Mainland, and for this reason, mainstream commercial vehicles sold in Hong Kong are at least Euro V compliant.
The current Iveco products running in Hong Kong are most the Eurotech, Euro Trakker and Stralis launched in 2003. The authorization of this time enables the newest models of Iveco to enter the Hong Kong market.
