Japanese brands’ A0-class car sales decline 2.1 percent in September

BEIJING – September sales of Japanese brands’ locally produced A0-class cars in China declined by 2.1 percent on a yearly basis to 15,473 units, and their market share was up by 0.7 percentage points to 10.9 percent.

Suzuki led the segment among the Japanese brands by the sales of 10,484 units, up 4.9 percent.

The combined sales of Japanese brands in the segment in the first nine months of this year came up to 146,111 units, down 12.5 percent, and the market share was down by 1.4 percentage points to 11.7 percent compared to the same period of last year.
