Japanese brands’ A0-class car sales decline 2.9 percent in July

BEIJING— July sales of Japanese brands’ locally produced A0-class cars in China declined by 2.9 percent on a yearly basis to 13,604 units, and their market share was up by 0.9 percentage points to 12.1 percent.

Suzuki led the segment among the Japanese brands by the sales of 7,865 units, down 3.2 percent.

The combined sales of Japanese brands in the segment in the first seven months of this year came up to 118,021 units, down 12.6 percent, and the market share was down by 1.7 percentage points to 12.05 percent compared to the same period of last year.
