Japanese brands’ B-class car sales up 45.2 percent in October

BEIJING – October sales of Japanese brands’ locally produced B-class cars rose 45.2 percent on a yearly basis to 48,604 units, and their market share was up by 6.4 percentage points to 27.2 percent.

Toyota led the segment among the Japanese brands by the sales of 21,016 units, up 62.8 percent.

In the first ten months of this year, a total of 462,619 Japanese brands’ locally produced B-class cars were sold in China with an increase of 1.1 percent.

Toyota sales during the period were 182,460 units, up 13 percent.
