Japanese brands double SUV sales for November in China

Japanese brands doubled their locally produced SUV sales to 33,256 units in November from October in China, accounting for 18.52 percent of total SUV sales up nearly eight percentage points. Their major models including CR-V, Qashqai and RAV4 improved their each ranking by a considerable sales growth.

Whereas, the German brands’ SUV sales in November dropped 2.66 percent month-on-month to 31,544 units and took up 17.57 percent of total sales of the segment with a decline of 2.67 percentage points.

SUV sales of Korean brands came to 29,871 units up 4 percent from October, accounting for 16.6 percent of total sales of the segment down 1.3 percentage points.
