Joern Hasenfuss becomes new vice GM of Shanghai-VW

SHANGHAI – Joern Hasenfuss has been appointed new vice general manager of Shanghai-Volkswagen to replace Dieter Seemann who has been transferred back to Volkswagen Group due to expiration of term of office in Shanghai-Volkswagen, according to a recent company press release.

Dieter Seemann started serving as vice general manager of Shanghai-Volkswagen since February 2005. After returning to Volkswagen Group, Seemann will take a new position as vice president for Finances at SEAT, S.A. in Spain to control financial and organizational systems there.

Joern Hasenfuss is said to have rich experience in company operations and management. Hasenfuss has been working in Volkswagen Group for 21 years and held many positions, such as director assistant and head of the Worldwide Group Procurement for the Interior.
