XIAMEN, Fujian – Xiamen King Long Automotive Industry Co., Ltd. signed a new 10-year cooperation contract with the NTC company of Saudi Arabia on July 29, reported cvworld.cn.
King Long has already cooperated with NTC for 10 years, said the report.
King Long had exported large and medium bus of 2,100 units to Saudi Arabia in a value of ¥1 billion ($160 million) by April 2013. The company also won an order of 150 buses from SAPTCO, the largest state-owned transportation company of Saudi Arabia, in 2011, which was the first time that the company adopted Chinese-branded buses. SAPTCO then purchased 700 luxury buses in the last two years, according to the company.
King Long started its international marketing strategy from the year 2000 with products sold in Asia, Oceania, South America, Africa and the Europe. King Long also ranked top in export in the first half of 2013, according to the company.
