October sales of American brands’ B-class cars up 21.2 percent

BEIJING – October sales of American brands’ locally produced B-class cars in China increased by 21.2 percent year-on-year to 34,971 units, and their market share was 19.5 percent, up 1.5 percentage points.

Shanghai-GM sales in this segment for the month reached 26,034 units, up 16.4 percent.

In the first ten months of this year, combined sales of American brands in the segment were 295,725 units, up 21.9 percent, and the market share was up by 1.8 percentage points to 17.7 percent.

Shanghai-GM sales during the period in the segment were 243,977 units, up 29.3 percent.
