LIUZHOU, Guangxi – SAIC-GM-Wuling has launched the 2016 Baojun 630 family sedan priced at ¥59,800-¥74,800 ($9,200-$11,508), up to ¥7,000 less than its predecessors, according to a company news release.
The 2016 Baojun 630 is powered by a 1.5L P-TEC DVVT engine that generates maximum power of 82 kW and peak torque of 146.5 Nm, while delivering fuel consumption of only 5.8L/100 km. The standard, comfort and elite trims are offered with a smooth-shifting five-speed manual transmission. The comfort trim is also available with an optional six-speed automated transmission.
With enhanced styling inside and out along with upgraded performance, the 2016 Baojun 630 will appeal to younger family buyers looking for a sporty and contemporary sedan.
The 2016 Baojun 630 has an all-new exterior design. Its chrome shield-shaped upper grille has an aggressive look. Flying-wing headlights with a visual lens structure integrate with the grille. The trapezoidal lower grille works in concert with stylish fog lights to add to the premium appearance.
Safety is paramount in the 2016 Baojun 630. It is equipped with anti-lock brakes with electronic brake force distribution, electronic power steering, dual air bags, ISOFIX child seat mountings and adjustable headlights. The elite trim also comes with a multifunction steering wheel and an all-new 8-inch screen with integrated audio player, Bluetooth compatibility and a rear camera.
