Shanghai GM completes Chongqing replacement parts distribution center
In the past, if a relatively unused component of a Buick broke, the owner would have to wait two to three days to get the part from the manufacturer. Now, in Chongqing a customer needs only to order online, and the part will be shipped within a half hour. At most he/she will have to wait 24 hours. If the customer chooses to pick it up himself/ herself, the part can be replaced within two hours. As of yesterday’s completion of the Shanghai GM after-sales replacement parts distribution center in Chingqing’s Jiulongpo District Xipeng Industrial Park, customers of Buick, Chevron and Cadillac will all be able to enjoy this convenient service.
According to reports, the center is located in the Jiulongpo District Xipeng Industrial Park, and covers 78,000 square meters. It is the first Shanghai GM after-sales replacement parts distributor in western China. It was preceded by four large plants in Shanghai, Yantai, Guangzhou and Tianjin. The plant will also serve Sichuan, Yunnan, Guizhou, Shaanxi, Qinghai, Tibet and others among the nine western provinces.
