With just two weeks to go before the Guangzhou Auto Show, Toyota has revealed its expo line-up in a public statement, according to an auto.163.com report.
As usual, Toyota has quite a few models to show. Included will be the FCV Concept hydrogen fuel-cell model, and the FT-EV BEV.
The FCV Concept is equipped with a tank of hydrogen, which reacts with oxygen to provide power to the vehicle. According to the report, the FCV has a range of up to 500 km on a full tank, and filling the tank only takes about three minutes. The engine has an output of 136 horsepower, and the FCV can reach 100 km/h in 10 seconds.
The production ready model will hit the markets in Japan in March of next year, followed by a European release that summer. It will cost on the order of 7 million yen, or 411,000 Chinese yuan ($67,000).
The FT-EV III is a four-seat compact, based on the Toyota IQ platform. The BEV engine is powered by a lithium battery which allows for zero emissions. Its range is 105 km on a single charge.
Toyota will also show the NS4 plug-in hybrid and the TSO30 hybrid race car.
