Yang Hanlin appointed new president of SAIC-IVECO-Hongya

CHONGQING – SAIC-IVECO-Hongyan Commercial Vehicle Co., Ltd. (SAIC-IVECO-Hongyan) announced on August 27 that Yang Hanlin has been appointed as the new president of the company, succeeding Xiong Weiming

Yang previously worked as technical center director, assistant to the president, and vice president of Shanghai Diesel Engine Co., Ltd. He has been vice president of SAIC Fiat Powertrain Hongyan Co., Ltd. since June 2007.

Xiong has been appointed president of United Automotive Electronic Systems Co., Ltd. (UAES).

SAIC-IVECO-Hongyan sold 28,000 heavy-duty trucks in 2013 with a year-on-year growth of 65 percent, far exceeding the industry average of 12 percent, according to company information.
