BEIJING – Li Feng, Party standing committee member of Beijing Automotive Group Co., Ltd. (BAIC Group), will concurrently work as secretary of the Party committee and dean of BAIC Group New Technology Research Institute and assist Xu Heyi, chairman of BAIC Group, for the management of BAIC Motor Corp., Ltd. (BAIC Motor), according to a report on news.xinhuanet.com citing company sources on February 18.
As revealed in the plan drafted by BAIC Group for the adjustment of BAIC Motor’s top management, Li will no longer serve as president of BAIC Motor. His replacement will be Chen Hongliang, who has served as senior executive vice president of Beijing Benz Automotive Co., Ltd. (BBAC) for a full term. With the new appointment, Chen will no longer serve as senior executive vice president at BBAC.
Chen Wei, vice president of BBAC since 2012, will have a new position as senior executive vice president of BBAC.
After serving Beijing-Hyundai for two full terms as executive vice president, Liu Zhifeng will be transferred back to BAIC Group and serve as president of BAIC ROCAR Automobile Services & Trade Co., Ltd.
Chen Guixiang will be moved from his current position as executive vice president of BAIC Motor to serve as the new executive vice president of Beijing-Hyundai.
