Cummins to invest ¥150 million to expand China tech center as engine maker celebrates centennial

BEIJING – Cummins has kicked off its centennial celebration with a simple message: “Challenge the Impossible.”

The U.S. diesel engine manufacturer in the process of transforming into a diversified power solutions provider has already done the “impossible” in China, one of its core markets: it has completed China 6 emissions certification for engines produced and sold locally entirely by its local development team at its joint venture technical center in Wuhan, Hubei Province with partner Dongfeng.
