MIIT’s ICV development action plan targeting 30 percent penetration rates of IoV and L2 ADAS by 2020

BEIJING – China is targeting to achieve more than 30 percent penetration rates in both Internet of Vehicles (IoV), or telematics, and Level 2 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) on new vehicles by 2020, according to the Internet of Vehicle (Intelligent Connected Vehicle) Industry Development Action Plan released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) on December 27, 2018.
