Borgward President Jason Yang reveals reasons behind market slowdown in letter to employees

In a letter to employees written on September 7, Borgward President Jason (Song) Yang offered his perspectives on the current state and future prospects of China’s auto market as well as his philosophies on sales and marketing tactics for the young brand during the current market slowdown and amid cutthroat competition. The veteran sales and marketing guru, who is known for his tenure at Dongfeng-Nissan successfully growing the joint venture’s sales in the early part of this decade, took up his current position earlier this year and repositioned Borgward as a “Chinese-owned German-engineered brand.
